brainstorming workshop on “Future Technologies in Healthcare and Biomedical Devices – 2023”

This 2-day event, hosted by SCTIMST will be supported by The Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), an autonomous technology think-tank under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

The brainstorming workshop will explore futuristic arenas in health care, with the vision narrative “Striding towards technology independence- A self-reliant and climate resilient developed India” as part of Technology Vision 2047. Cutting edge technologies in medical, biomedical and health research will be showcased by eminent personalities from academia, research institutions and industries. Group discussions with young researchers will be the primary emphasis of the event in order to identify potential future research fields in both basic and applied sciences.  We anticipate that the discussions during the brainstorming workshop will result in “game-changing” technological advancements in the healthcare and biomedical device sectors, enabling us to compile a  Technology Vision 2047 Document that can be submitted to TIFAC.
